To install timing scarp and sprockets;fit crank shaft sprocket using the front cover aligner and seal installer (J 22102), which should align the keyway of crankshaft sprocket in relation to the crank shaft pin. Move the crankshaft in order for the crankshaft sprocket alignment mark to be at 12 o'clock. Do not hammer the
Camshaft sprocket onto the Camshaft to avoid the rear Camshaft plug been knocked off and damaging the Camshaft. Mount the Camshaft sprocket with its alignment mark at the 6 o'clock position, while making sure that the sprocket teeth align with the Timing Chain to prevent Camshaft retainer damage. With the Camshaft sprocket and Timing Chain both installed make sure that the crank sprocket is at 12 o'clock and the Camshaft sprocket at 6 o'clock. Mount the Camshaft sprocket bolts and tighten the bolts to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs) in two steps.
