How to replace the A/C Compressor Cut-Out Switches on Chevrolet Trailblazer?

You must disconnect electrical power to the a/c low pressure switch as your first step before replacement. Dismantle the a/c low pressure switch from the accumulator then discard its o-ring seal that connects to the a/c low pressure switch port situated on the accumulator. Attach the a/c low pressure switch to the accumulator while keeping the torque at 4.8 n.m (42 lb in). Reconnect the a/c low pressure switch electrical connector before doing a leak test with the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) on all component fittings.
