The starting point for replacing an engine Flywheel begins with removing the transmission then marking both the Flywheel position and its direction before removal. Then remove the Flywheel bolts and afterward the Flywheel itself. Thorough inspection together with cleaning of the Flywheel is necessary. The installation of the new Flywheel requires threadlock on its bolts together with the correct part number selection for all required adhesives, fluids and lubricants along with sealers. Factored fastener installation requires attention as it prevents damage to vehicles during maintenance. The new Flywheel needs installation while using new bolts which should be tightened in the proper sequence to reach 25 nm (18 lb ft). Apply the j 36660-a torque angle meter to add 50-degree additional torques to the bolts. Finally, reinstall the transmission.
