Start the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor replacement by disconnecting the electrical connector followed by removing the clamp at both the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor and Throttle Body then unbolting and removing the air cleaner outlet duct. You should start by unfurling the clamp joining the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor to the air cleaner housing before extracting the sensor from the housing. Install the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor by first orienting the embossed arrow toward the engine before placing it onto the air cleaner housing where the clamp needs tightening to 7 n.m (62 lb in). Fasten the air cleaner outlet duct in place using the bolt which needs tightness of 10 n.m (89 lb in). Use 7 n.m (62 lb in) torque to clamp the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor to the air cleaner housing and the Throttle Body. Afterward attach the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat electrical connector.
