How to replace the throttle body assembly on Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Before installing a new Throttle Body you must detach the resonator assembly first. Begin by removing the Throttle Body electrical connector after you detach the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge line from the Throttle Body. Combining wrenches loosen the Throttle Body assembly retaining bolts so you can remove the Throttle Body assembly and matching gasket from the Intake Manifold surface before cleaning it. Set the Throttle Body assembly into the Intake Manifold position while using the gasket. Use gm p/n 12346004 sealer (Canadian P/N 10953480) on the throttle control module bolt threads and follow fastener caution procedures. After securing the Throttle Body assembly retaining bolts apply 10 nm (89 lb in) of torque to them. Reinstallation of the Throttle Body electrical connector should be followed by attaching the evap canister purge line to the Throttle Body and reinstalling the resonator assembly.
