How to Remove and Replace a Throttle Body Assembly on Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Before installing a new Throttle Body assembly start by removing the resonator assembly followed by disconnecting the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge line from the Throttle Body then separate the Throttle Body electric connector. Afterwards remove the Throttle Body assembly retaining bolts and extract both the Throttle Body assembly and its gasket from the Intake Manifold but keep the gasket surface clean. Before assembly placement, set the Throttle Body assembly onto the Intake Manifold with the gasket installed but apply gm p/n 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) sealer to the throttle control module bolt threads. After installing the Throttle Body assembly retaining bolts users must tighten them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Start by connecting the Throttle Body electrical connector then add the evap canister purge line to the Throttle Body before reinstalling the resonator assembly.
