    To replace the Intake Manifold, start by turning the ignition off and removing the fuel injector site shield and then the outlet duct of air cleaner. Unplug the Brake Booster Vacuum Hose and the rear positive crankcase ventilation hose and plug the purge solenoid valve electrical connector and also the purge line from the purge solenoid valve. Pull off the electrical connector retainer , the throttle body electrical connector from the Intake Manifold, then the fuel pipe shield and the engine wiring retaining clip from the side of the Intake Manifold. Unscrew the wiring harness retaining bolt and the engine wiring harness retaining clips from the Intake Manifold, setting the engine wiring harness out of the way. Next you take out the Intake Manifold insulator and the Intake Manifold bolts after which you remove Intake Manifold with the throttle body. If changing the Intake Manifold, disassemble and clean it before installing.
