The installation process for intake Air Temperature Sensor starts with removing the air cleaner outlet duct. First disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the Mass Air Flow Sensor/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor then take out the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor by removing its screws while moving the sensor from the air cleaner assembly. Next remove the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor seal. Before installing the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor attach its corresponding Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor seal to the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor. Afterward replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor within the air cleaner assembly. Mount the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor screws into place before securing them to a torque of 4 nm (35 lb in). Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor before putting back the air cleaner outlet duct.
