  Q: How to service and repair the Fuel Pressure Sensor on Chevrolet Venture?

  A: First service and repair work on the Fuel Tank pressure sensor must start with the fuel pressure relief procedure for system fuel pressure relief. The first task requires draining the Fuel Tank following Fuel Tank draining procedure then lifting the vehicle according to lifting and jacking the vehicle in service precautions. First disconnect the electrical connector that belongs to the Fuel Tank Vapor Pressure Sensor before removing the Fuel Tank. The technician needs to remove the Fuel Tank pressure sensor from its position on the modular fuel sender. Placement of the new Fuel Tank pressure sensor should be on the modular fuel sender while connecting the ftp sensor electrical connector for installation. The procedure starts with installing the Fuel Tank followed by lowering the vehicle to add fuel before putting back the fuel fill cap. Check for fuel leaks by engaging the ignition for one second then waiting for ten seconds with the ignition off followed by another second of ignition being turned on and inspecting the area for leaks.
