  A: Perform replacement of the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump by starting with ignition OFF then lifting your car before proceeding. The first step involves removing both the left wheel assembly along with the left front fender liner. First loosen the pinch clamp holding the secondary air injection (AIR) exhaust pipe hose before removing the AIR exhaust hose from both the AIR pump and AIR pump electrical connector. Begin by unbolt the AIR pump bracket from the frame and extract the AIR pump and bracket along with each other as a single unit. Mount the AIR pump together with its bracket onto the frame using the provided nuts following the specification of bolting them to 50 N.m (37 lb ft). Connect the electrical cable on the AIR pump then lubricate the inner hose edge before attaching it to the AIR pump outlet. You should install the pinch clamp on the outlet port/exhaust hose connection after which you can reposition the left front fender liner and the left wheel assembly when the vehicle is lowered.
