For valve stem oil seal and valve spring repair on the left side the needed tools include the en 46106 flywheel holder, en 46110 on-vehicle valve spring compressor, en 46116 valve stem seal tool, and j 39313
Spark Plug port adapter. Put in the en 46106 tool first to stop the crankshaft from turning because failing to do this can result in full
Camshaft timing system demolition and rebuild work. First dispose of the camshafts and
Rocker Arms while taking out the Spark Plug from the proper cylinder. Fit the j 39313 adapter tool onto the cylinder cylinder and apply compressed air to work on it. Place the en 46110 above the cylinder then turn its compressor nut until it fits into position. Loosen the valve spring compressor nut and take out the valve spring retainer and valve spring after removing the valve keepers. Install the en 46116 tool to uninstall your valve stem seal. Follow en 46116 procedures when installing the new valve stem seal and then put in the valve spring and valve spring retainer. Reinstall the compressor of en 46110 over the valve spring and tighten its nut then set the valve spring keepers. The j 39313 needs to come out of its air supply connection point while en 46110 gets removed too. Reinstall spark plugs then put rocker arms and camshafts back and remove en 46106 before placing
Starter motor assembly.
