How to replace the wiper arm on GMC C2500?

By labeling the Wiper Blade position first, you can disconnect the washer hose and start replacing the Wiper Arm. Take off the protective cover from the Wiper Arm to unscrew its securing nut. When rocking the Wiper Arm alone does not work to detach it from the Drive Shaft apply use of a battery terminal puller to ease the removal. Clean the Drive Shaft knurls with a wire brush as you rock the Wiper Arm to disengage it from the Drive Shaft. Guide the Wiper Arm to touch the previous windshield mark and put it on the Drive Shaft to install the wiper system. Fasten the Drive Shaft nut and tighten it down to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Reinstall the washer hose and position the cover while natural polishing the windshield surface. Test the wipers to guarantee their correct performance.
