The cup holder replacement process starts by taking out the ashtray then removing the cup holder from its place. Unfasten the knee bolster then you can break free two rear screws from the cup holder. A person should detach the cup holder retainer by twisting it counterclockwise from beneath the instrument panel before removing the cup holder. The new cup holder must slide onto the instrument panel metal track before installing the cup holder retainer by twisting it to the right under the instrument panel. Install the cup holder inside the instrument panel by fitting its screws at the rear position and tighten them to 2 N.m (18 lb in) while you maintain the cup holder face plate against the cluster bezel opening to keep it properly aligned. Put back the ashtray and knee bolster at the end of the process.
