  • Q: How to service and repair the Fuse Box on GMC C3500?
    A: It is very important to first remove the negative Battery Cable before servicing the Fuse box. Lift up the cover that is on the left side of the instrument panel, then take out the Fuse box by removing its bottom screw. Press the bottom of the Fuse box to move it up and clear the two mounting tabs. Then remove the Fuse box, mark its position and pull it slowly away from the instrument panel. After that, pull the wires out of the Fuse box and remove the box from the vehicle and then take out the fuses from inside the box. Return the fuses to their sockets, replace the Fuse box and reattach the wires back to where they belonged. Put the Fuse box into the instrument panel by inserting the top tabs into the corresponding tabs on the instrument panel, pushing the bottom part in from behind and installing the retaining screw. After that, fasten the Fuse box cover and attach the negative terminal of the battery.
