How to service and repair the Fuse Box in the Convenience Center on Chevrolet K3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must disconnect the negative Battery Cable before starting fuse block in the convenience center service and repair tasks. Label the wires at the convenience center front before disconnecting the wiring connectors. After disengaging the tabs at the upper left and lower right posts that are inserted into the bulkhead connector one can detach the convenience center. First disconnect the wiring connectors from behind the convenience center before labeling them for reinstallation and removing the convenience center from the vehicle. Reinstall the convenience center by placing it into its vehicle position then connect its wire connectors to their exact original positions at the rear. Connect the convenience center to bulkhead connector through post tab engagement after you attach wiring connectors to their original front positions of the convenience center and reconnect the negative Battery Cable.

How to service and repair the Fuse Box on GMC C3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
It is very important to first remove the negative Battery Cable before servicing the Fuse box. Lift up the cover that is on the left side of the instrument panel, then take out the Fuse box by removing its bottom screw. Press the bottom of the Fuse box to move it up and clear the two mounting tabs. Then remove the Fuse box, mark its position and pull it slowly away from the instrument panel. After that, pull the wires out of the Fuse box and remove the box from the vehicle and then take out the fuses from inside the box. Return the fuses to their sockets, replace the Fuse box and reattach the wires back to where they belonged. Put the Fuse box into the instrument panel by inserting the top tabs into the corresponding tabs on the instrument panel, pushing the bottom part in from behind and installing the retaining screw. After that, fasten the Fuse box cover and attach the negative terminal of the battery.
