How to replace the underhood fuse box on GMC Canyon?

An initial step when replacing the underhood electrical center or junction block starts with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. You should remove the junction block cover through a two-step process of pressing tabs inward followed by lifting it off. Follow the next step to unscrew the Fuse Box bolts while separating the Fuse Box from the junction block bracket. The wiring harness ends should be lowered from their positions at the bottom of the Fuse Box to detach them fully. Installation requires users to position the wiring harnesses correctly before installing the Fuse Box according to the fastener notice in service precautions. After securing Fuse Box bolts to 6 n.m (53 lb in torque) the junction block cover can be installed through tab engagement by downward pressure.
