To replace the Ignition Coil, remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct at first. Remove the oil pressure sensor on the engine wiring harness electric connector . Remove the engine wiring harness retainer from oil filter adapter, and engine wiring harness retainers from the
Power Steering Pump . Then, pull off the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (1, 4) from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor and the cmp actuator solenoid valve and depress the engine wiring harness retainer (4) from the camshaft cover . Then follow by detaching electrical connectors of the fuel injector harness , heated
Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) and engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor , also from the ignition coils. Disconnect the engine wiring harness conduit delicately from the camshaft cover and move it out of the way. Pull off the Ignition Coil, using Ignition Coil bolts and removing the ignition coils by turning the Ignition Coil bolts on the camshaft cover. For installation, ensure the Ignition Coil seals are seated to the camshaft cover, then install ignition coils and bolt in and tighten them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Connect the electric connectors onto the ignition coils, fuel injector harness, ho2s, and ect sensors and then reattach the engine wiring harness conduit to the camshaft cover. Connect the electrical connectors (1, 4) to the cmp sensor and cmp actuator solenoid valve and the engine wiring harness retainer to the camshaft cover and retainers to the Power Steering Pump. Finally, join up the electrical connector to the oil pressure sensor , the retainer to the oil filter adapter , and replace the resonator and outlet duct shield of the air cleaner .
