    Q:
How to Service and Repair an Ignition Coil on Chevrolet Colorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement process starts with removing the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Start by removing the ignition coil bolts then disconnecting the engine wiring harness electrical connectors from the ignition coils before extracting the ignition coils from the camshaft cover. Install the ignition coils exclusively after you verify that the camshaft cover ignition coil seals fit correctly before inserting the coils into position. Screw in the ignition coil mounting bolts until the torque reaches 10 Nm (89 lb in). Follow the process by reconnecting engine wiring harness electrical connectors to ignition coils and afterward reinstall the air cleaner resonator along with the outlet duct.

How to replace the ignition coil on Chevrolet Colorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
First, remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct to change the ignition coil. Refrain from the engine wiring harness electrical connectors to the ignition coils; remove the bolts of the ignition coils and pull the ignition coils from the camshaft cover. When replacing the ignition coils, see that ignition coil seals are in place to the camshaft cover, then proceed to insert ignition coils to the camshaft cover. Mount the ignition coil bolts, then finish tightening them to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors to the ignition coils and lastly, reinstall the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct.

    Q:
How to Service and Repair an Ignition Coil on GMC Canyon? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the Ignition Coil, remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct at first. Remove the oil pressure sensor on the engine wiring harness electric connector . Remove the engine wiring harness retainer from oil filter adapter, and engine wiring harness retainers from the Power Steering Pump . Then, pull off the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (1, 4) from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor and the cmp actuator solenoid valve and depress the engine wiring harness retainer (4) from the camshaft cover . Then follow by detaching electrical connectors of the fuel injector harness , heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) and engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor , also from the ignition coils. Disconnect the engine wiring harness conduit delicately from the camshaft cover and move it out of the way. Pull off the Ignition Coil, using Ignition Coil bolts and removing the ignition coils by turning the Ignition Coil bolts on the camshaft cover. For installation, ensure the Ignition Coil seals are seated to the camshaft cover, then install ignition coils and bolt in and tighten them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Connect the electric connectors onto the ignition coils, fuel injector harness, ho2s, and ect sensors and then reattach the engine wiring harness conduit to the camshaft cover. Connect the electrical connectors (1, 4) to the cmp sensor and cmp actuator solenoid valve and the engine wiring harness retainer to the camshaft cover and retainers to the Power Steering Pump. Finally, join up the electrical connector to the oil pressure sensor , the retainer to the oil filter adapter , and replace the resonator and outlet duct shield of the air cleaner .
