To remove right side Spark Plug wires, first remove right front wheelhouse liner, then remove the right side plug wires from the wheel opening. Next, remove the Spark Plug wire from the Spark Plug by using the boot to turn it a 1/2 turn and only pull on the boot. Also, the Spark Plug wire should be disconnected from the Ignition Coil by twisting the boot a 1/2 turn and pulling only on the boot. For installation, make the Spark Plug wire accessible to the Ignition Coil then to the Spark Plug. Check the Spark Plug wire for proper installation by pushing a boot sideways to check the seating for a loose boot. Install any loose boot. Lastly, if the right side Spark Plug wires were replaced, return the right front wheelhouse liner.

Perform boot inspection by gently pushing each wire boot sideways to test the proper seating then reinstall loose boot components. Finally, reinstall the engine cover.

To install the replacement of the Spark Plug wire, remove the wire from the Spark Plug by twisting the end of the wire boot by 1/2 of a round and pulling solely on the boot. Replace any loose boot placements during reinstallation. Replace the right front wheelhouse liner if you have replaced any right side ignition cable.

For installed old Spark Plug Wires the application of dielectric grease gm pn 12345579 (Canadian PN 10953481) or equivalent inside Spark Plug wire boots must occur. Follow these installation steps: put Spark Plug Wires in place, make sure Spark Plug wire separators get closed, then secure Spark Plug wire boots to each Ignition Coil before attaching (1, 2) each boot to the Spark Plug. For proper Spark Plug wire examination check their route (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) while also checking boot seating by pushing all boots sideways before reboots and fresh dielectric grease application in each boot during installation operations.

Attach each wire to its respective spark plug.

Connect the spark plug wires at the ignition coil.

Disconnect the left side spark plug wires from the spark plugs and the ignition coil.

Install the spark plug wire(s) and close the spark plug wire separators.

Ensure that the boots are properly seated to avoid false impressions of being fully seated.
