The Heater Core in GMC Canyon vehicles is the part of the heating system mechanism of the car as it works like a radiator and has the engine's the hot coolant scrambled to warm up the air inside the car. Constructed from aluminium or brass with fins to increase the surface area of the core, the hot coolant from the engine passes through the core and with the help of vehicle's blower, air is passed through the core to warm the interior of the vehicle. Heater Cores could have a Valve or a door for temperature regulation while other sophisticated models could use Electromechanical Actuators and Thermistors to ensure extra comfort. In vehicles having air conditioning the heater core assists in the dehumidification process or in reheating air which is cooled. These are problems such as blockage, dripping, and, rusting that call for a complicated process of dismantling the dashboard. It is also possible to use different types of heating for air-cooled engines; however, these procedures are rather dangerous.
