    A worker must first remove two screws that hold the switch plate assembly in position to the door trim panel before starting work. The power switch (3,4) connectors must be detached from their positions on switches (2, 5) before you extract the switch plate assembly from the car body. Replace the switches independently before removing them from the plate while installing only a new switch plate maintain the existing switches for transfer. The switch plate (2, 5) needs to be placed on the switches before securing electrical connectors (3, 4) to (2, 5). Screw in the switch plate assembly to the door trim panel by using the 2 screws while tightening each front door switch plate screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
