How to replace the ABS Control Module on GMC Jimmy?

Starting the ABS Control Module replacement process requires complete cleaning of the area containing the Electronic Hydraulic Control Unit (EHCU) to avoid contaminating disassembled ABS components. The ABS Control Module requires you to disconnect its electrical connectors before using a T-25 TORX tool to remove the four mounting screws which hold the ABS Control Module to the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV). Without using tools as a prying device, remove the ABS Control Module from the BPMV. The mounting surfaces of the BPMV must be cleaned by wiping them with a new cloth. As part of the new ABS Control Module installation, keep the old screws from reuse by using four fresh T-25 TORX(R) screws and follow the 5 Nm (39 inch lbs.) torque value in an X-shaped pattern.
