How to replace the fan shroud on GMC Jimmy?

Fans who operate the 2.2 l model must begin by removing the intake duct assembly through air duct clamp loosening and air duct rivet removal then taking out the assembly from the Fan Shroud. First disconnect the coolant recovery reservoir hose from the lower Fan Shroud while taking out the upper Fan Shroud screws before lifting the lower Fan Shroud enough to disengage its locating tabs from the Radiator and then remove it from the car. Place the bottom Fan Shroud directly against the Radiator after you insert the locating tabs through the openings. Position the upper Fan Shroud in place before securing it with attaching screws at 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) tension and reconstruct the coolant recovery reservoir hose to the lower Fan Shroud. The installation of the 2.2 l intake duct assembly requires loosening the air duct clamps as well as removing the air duct rivets prior to extracting the intake duct assembly from the Fan Shroud. Replace the intake air ducts after clamping them to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.) torque and reinserting the rivets.
