The Fuel Tank draining procedure guides operators in removing fuel from the tank before they extract the Fuel Tank itself. The service procedure requires disconnecting the Fuel Tank pressure sensor electrical connector before removing the Fuel Tank pressure sensor from its position on the fuel sender assembly. When installing the Fuel Tank pressure sensor set it on the fuel sender assembly before restoring its electrical connector. After refilling the Fuel Tank with the fuel filler cap secured you can replace it. Test for fuel leaks by first switching the Battery Cable connection negative and then using the on/off switch to inspect the system for leaks during a 2-second on and a 10-second off duration.
