The maf sensor should be disconnected from the air cleaner cover and air cleaner outlet duct using loose hose clamps. In the installation process, confirm that the embossed arrow on the maf sensor goes to the engine to signify the right air flow in the direction. Screw-in the maf sensor to the duct of the air cleaner, then the air cleaner cover by using clamps that are tightened up to 4 n.m (35 lb in). Lastly, reconnect the maf sensor harness connector and the negative cable of the battery.
