Attach the wiper arm to the wiper transmission drive shaft while matching the marks on the windshield then push the arm fully onto the shaft. Secure the retaining nut on the wiper transmission drive shaft and wiper arm by tightening it to 23 N.m (17 lb ft). To finish the installation place the cover over the wiper arm nut.
