How to service the MAP Sensor on GMC Safari?

Begin servicing the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor by taking out the negative Battery Cable followed by removing the engine cover. Water must pass through a connection before removing the MAP Sensor harness connector while making sure to avoid both MAP Sensor and Intake Manifold damage through rotation or prying movements. You should unplug the MAP Sensor from its harness before eliminating the MAP Sensor grommet. You must install a new MAP Sensor to Intake Manifold seal after removing the sensor from its position. To reuse your existing MAP Sensor you must first install a brand new MAP Sensor grommet then install the sensor and fully connect its harness connector. Refit the engine cover afterward you reestablish the negative Battery Cable connection.
