You must first take away the valve
Rocker Arm cover along with its corresponding valve rocker arms before extracting the
Spark Plugs to reach the valve guide seal for repair. The j 22794 Spark Plug port adapter fits into the Spark Plug hole before a shop air supply hose connects and compressed air holds valve movement steady. Put a valve Rocker Arm bolt through a flat washer before placing it in the bolt hole of the valve spring that needs to be unscrewed. Pay attention while using the valve spring compressor because it needs to handle strong spring tension. Set the j 5892-d valve spring compressor's slot under a washer on the valve Rocker Arm bolt and apply slow pressure to open up the valve keys. Use the j 38606 to grip the valve spring fully so the tool cannot slip and create marks on the surface. Take out the valve keys and slowly lower valve spring pressure through the j 5892-d or j 38606 before extracting these tools, valve spring cap, and spring. When installing new seals place the valve spring caps and spring then press the valve spring using the j 5892-d tool. Change over to the j 38606 tool if the valve clearance opening proves too narrow. Insert valve stem keys into their holders with grease before letting valve spring pressure out while checking the keys settled into the spring cap space properly to prevent engine harm. Take out the j 5892-d or j 38606 tool first, followed by the j 22794 before placing back all spark plugs, valve rocker arms and valve Rocker Arm cover.
