Insert the valve stem o-ring seal with valve stem keys and keep the keys in place by applying grease. Slowly release valve spring pressure until the keys stay in position correctly. The j 5892-d and j 38606 should be removed at this point. Conclude the process by checking the valve stem key seating. When necessary tap the stem and remove the j 22794. Then fully install the spark plugs along with valve rocker arms and valve Rocker Arm cover.

Use the j 38606 as your alternative tool when valve clearance becomes narrower than standard specifications. Place the valve stem o-ring seal and keys in position before you release valve pressure. Keep everything in position by using grease. Check the valve stem keys are in position before taking out the j 5892-d or j 38606. Tap the valve stem lightly if required. As the last step put back the valve rocker arms replace the spark plugs and install the j 22794.

Reinstall the valve spring and valve spring cap and then compress the valve spring for the second time using the j 5892-d or j 38606 in those cases. Place the valve stem o-ring seal and valve stem keys with the help of grease to hold the keys on place. Gradually let the pressure off on the valve spring while making sure that the keys do not come off and remove the j 5892-d or j 38606. Finally, verify the valve stem keys are in the upper groove of the valve stem and tap if necessary, then pull out the j 22794, reinstall the spark plugs, and valve rocker arms.

Set the valve stem seal and shim (1, 5) in their designated places. Afterward place the valve spring and valve spring cap on their seating and press the valve spring using the j 38606 tool. Use grease to set the valve keys onto the valve stem base while pushing them into their correct positioning in the stem grooves. Let go of the valve spring pressure carefully while keeping the valve keys in position to remove the j 38606. Stroke the valve stem tip gently with a plastic head hammer to position the keys if needed. To restart the Spark Plug system you need to take out j 22794 from its port and manually rotate the Spark Plug until reaching 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs. Torque). Lastly put the Spark Plug Wires onto both the Ignition Coil and Spark Plug then check their connections before putting back the valve Rocker Arm.

Then, tap the end of the valve stem using a plastic faced hammer to seat the keys if it's needed. Drop the Spark Plug port adapter (J22794) from the Spark Plug port, hand rotating the Spark Plug, and tightening it to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.). At last, connect the Spark Plug wire to the Spark Plug and check the wires to ensure that they are properly installed by pushing on each boot sideways, then replace any loose boot, then install a Rocker Arm.

First step to switch Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring involves taking off the valve Rocker Arm. After turing each boot on the Spark Plug wire half a turn you can safely uncover its end by griping just the boot. Brush oils through the valve spring seat region of the Cylinder Head before applying clean engine oil on both the valve guide and Valve Stem Oil Seal. Put the valves (228) into the right port before setting the Valve Stem Oil Seal (222), valve spring (223), and valve spring cap (224). Use the (J 38606) tool to compress the valve spring before inserting the keys into their grooves on the valve stem and keeping them in place with grease. Lift valve spring pressure while monitoring key position. Then take out the tool and tap the valve stem tip with a soft-headed hammer to better place keys if needed. Apply the (J 22794) into the Spark Plug port and turn the key by hand until the plug fires. Then tighten the plug to 15 nm (11 lb ft). Push the spark plugs directly into their connections at the Ignition Coil and Spark Plug. Check wire installation by pressing each boot from side to side then replace any loose boots. Finally, install the Rocker Arm.

For installation, install the valve into the correct valve guide, choose a correct Valve Stem Oil Seal, lubricate the seal and valve guide with clean engine oil, and install the Valve Stem Oil Seal using the j 42073 (Valve Stem Seal Installer), tapping it until it bottoms against the valve spring seat while maintaining a 1-2 mm clearance between seal and valve guide. Finally, go ahead and install the valve spring and the valve spring cap followed by compressing the valve spring once more with your j 5892-d or j 38606, as necessary. Install the valve stem o-ring seal and valve stem keys with grease in place on the keys, and carefully relieve the valve spring pressure to make the keys seat in the correct location in the valve spring cap. Finally, remove the j 5892-d or j 38606, verify that the valve stem keys that are seated, tap the valve stem if needed, remove the j 22794 and reinstall the spark plugs, valve rocker arms, and valve Rocker Arm cover.

Install the valve stem keys, using grease to hold them in place.

Utilize the J 38606 (Valve Spring Compressor) instead, ensuring its jaws completely engage the valve spring to prevent slipping and scratching.

Clean the cylinder head valve spring seat or shim area, lubricate the valve guide and valve stem oil seal with clean engine oil.
