How to replace the Leaf Spring Shackle on GMC Savana 1500?

One should first support the vehicle and raise it before using a safety stand to stabilize the rear axle. First loosen the mounting hardware between the spring shackle and Leaf Spring, then unbolt the mounting hardware which links the spring shackle to the frame bracket . Mount the new spring shackle onto the Leaf Spring along with the frame bracket. Secure this installation using the mounting nut and bolt while skipping the tightening step. Secure the Leaf Spring with spring shackle through the mounting nut followed by tightening both nuts to 90 nm(66 ft.lbs.). Lift the vehicle and remove its rear axle support before continuing.
