To replace the front Coil Springs, you need to begin working with the use of j 23028-01 (Coil Spring Remover) to cradle the lower
Control Arm at the bushing of the Control Arm while ensuring that the vehicle is lifted on a hoist with the control arms hanging free with the use of suitable safety stands. Take off the tire and wheel assembly; then take off stabilizer shaft link pins at the lower Control Arm and the shock absorber. Uplift the jack more in order to take away tension out of the lower control arms, pivot bolt, and later remove them. Lowers the Control Arm lower gradually to take off the coil spring and the insulator . For installation, hold the coil spring in a way that the taper is at the top and the gripper notch at the bottom with the spring insulator at the top. Support the lower Control Arm again using j 23028-01, raise the jack to guide the Control Arm in place using pry bar and install the new lower Control Arm pivots and nuts making sure they are installed in the right direction and tightened with the Control Arm at z height. After replacing the j 23028-01, replace onto the vehicle the shock absorber, followed by the stabilizer shaft link pin, then tighten the assembly retaining nut to 18 nm (13 ft. Lbs.). Lastly, reinstall the tire and wheel assembly, unscrew the safety stands, lower the vehicle, and torque the lower Control Arm pivot bolts to 155 nm (115 ft. Lbs.).
