In order to replace the back up lamp switch on the NV 3500 with manual transmission, one should first, elevate and properly support the vehicle. Remove the back up lamp switch by disconnecting the back up lamp switchelectrical connector. While installing the new back up lamp switch, bear in mind that the switch has pre-applied thread sealant to its threads; Tighten the switch to 37 Nm (27 ft. lbs.) and then hook up the back up lamp switch electrical connector before you lower the vehicle.
