How to replace the blower motor resistor on GMC Sierra 1500 Classic?

First step for replacing the Blower Motor Resistor is to take out the ip sound insulator if your vehicle has it installed. Take off the Blower Motor Resistor by deleting its electrical connections then removing the retaining screws. Fit the replacement Blower Motor Resistor into its designated space and bolt it with screws at 1.6 n.m (14 lb in). Connect the electrical cable first to the Blower Motor Resistor and then to the Blower Motor. After replacing the parts put the ip sound insulator back in position.
