Drain the cooling system to replace the Coolant Reservoir. Next, pull the air cleaner assembly and shift the overflow hose for Coolant Reservoir. Disconnect the coolant level sensor electrical connection and move the Coolant Reservoir inlet hose and outlet hose of clamps. For vehicles that have a 4.3 l, 4.8 l, 5.3 l, 6.0 l, or 8.1 l engine, disconnect the Coolant Reservoir inlet hose and outlet hose. Adjust the Coolant Reservoir inlet hose clamp and take off the inlet hose and proceed to do the same to the outlet hose and clamp. Remove the bolt and nut that hold the Coolant Reservoir and take out the Coolant Reservoir itself. Mount the Coolant Reservoir to its place and bolt and nut it with 9 nm (80 inch lbs). Reattach the Coolant Reservoir outlet hose with its clamp, and the inlet hose and its clamp. Connect the coolant sensor's electrical connector, replace the Coolant Reservoir overflow hose and at last the air cleaner assembly. Fill the cooling system afterward.
