    A: To replace the battery current sensor for 4.8l, 5.3l, 6.0l, and 6.2l engines, negative Battery Cable has to be taken out and the location of sensor marked on cable using tape. Then, take the tape that taped the sensor to the cable and mark the spots where the negative cable battery clips will belong before their removal. Squeeze both ends of the negative Battery Cable's branch and observe their orientation, then slide it off the cable. For installation, bond the cable branches together again, seeing to it that the new battery current sensor in place is situated in the right manner based on the original markings. Slide the new sensor onto the cable, wrap the cables leg with electrical tape, and re-install the negative Battery Cable clips in their marked positions, afterwards, engage the negative Battery Cable.
