How to replace the blower motor on GMC Sierra 3500 Classic?

Begin repair work by taking out the sound insulator panel which may exist in the vehicle. Begin by unscrewing the insulating cover screws of the blower motor then disconnect the electrical connector from this part. Twist the blower motor counterclockwise while pulling its retaining tab down to take it out of the heater/ventilation module. After that, remove the blower motor insulating cover. Install the new blower motor onto the heater/ventilation module by turning its assembly clockwise until the retaining tab locks. Set the blower motor insulating cover back in its position and link the electrical plug to the blower motor. Secure the blower motor insulating cover screws by turning them to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in) force according to the Fastener Notice. Replace the sound insulator panel once you have it available.
