    Q:
How to replace the blower motor on Cadillac Escalade? Posted by Customer
    A:
When the sound insulator panel exists the replacement process begins with it. Pull the blower motor insulating cover screws out and detach the electric wire before addressing the next steps. To access the blower motor first you should remove the insulating cover. When you pull on the retaining tab and turn the blower motor clockwise you can separate it from the heater/ventilation system. Place the new blower motor into the heater/ventilation module and twist the assembly clockwise until the retaining tab clicks into place to install. Reattach the blower motor insulating cover and link its electrical connector to the motor. Connect the blower motor insulating cover screws by hand first then secure them with torque at 1.6 N.m (14 lb in) and put back the sound insulator panel if needed.

    Q:
How to replace the blower motor (Delphi) on Chevrolet Silverado 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the blower motor replacement work by removing the sound insulator panel when present. Second you need to unfasten all screws holding the blower motor insulating cover and detach its electrical connector. To dismount the blower motor, remove its insulating cover. Pull down the retaining tab while rotating the blower motor in the opposite direction to separate it from the heater/ventilation part and take out the blower motor. Insert the new fan motor so its retention tab follows clockwise turns until the tab clicks into position. Put back the blower motor insulating cover and link the electrical connector to its regular slot. Fasten the insulating cover screws by tightening them to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in). Reinsert the sound insulator panel when it is present.
