    You must start by removing the tire and wheel on the left front side of the vehicle. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector through the wheel well opening from the knock sensor. Start by removing the knock sensor bolt (739) after disconnecting the knock sensor (718). Application starts with placing the knock sensor (718) on the engine block then installing the knock sensor bolt (739) while tightening it to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). Reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the knock sensor then install the left front wheel with its tire.
