The process requires clean engine oil lubrication of new lash adjusters (209, 219) and engine block valve bores. The reinstallation step involves inserting adjusters into their guides where a flat area on non-active fuel management lash adjusters matches adjuster guide bore flat areas. Notch positions should align with active fuel management adjuster raised surfaces. Install the lash adjusters together with guides (210) onto the engine block and fasten them with Lash Adjuster guide bolts (211) to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Replace the Cylinder Head along with its gasket.
