The replacement process of the Transmission Oil Cooler 4l60-e/4l65-e starts by removing the front grill assembly. To begin the process place a drain pan underneath the vehicle and remove the Transmission Oil Cooler lines from the auxiliary cooler. Before moving forward disconnect the auxiliary oil cooler bolts followed by push pins before extracting the auxiliary oil cooler from the vehicle. Installation requires positioning the auxiliary oil cooler into its normal location followed by bolting it to the radiator brace with push pins while tightening bolts to 12 nm (9 ft. Lbs.). Complete the Transmission Oil Cooler line setup with the auxiliary cooler then install the front grill assembly.
