Discharge the cooling system and take off the air cleaner assortment to supplant the Coolant Reservoir. Remove the Coolant Reservoir overflow hose and disconnect the coolant level sensor electrical connector. Reposition the Coolant Reservoir inlet hose clamp and outlet hose clamp and then if you have a 4.3 l, 4.8 l, 5.3 l, 6.0l, or 8.1 l engine you have to take the Coolant Reservoir inlet and outlet hoses. Replace the inlet hose clamp with its original position, have the inlet hose, replace the outlet hose clamp, and remove the outlet hose. Then, take out bolt and nut holding the Coolant Reservoir, and take out the Coolant Reservoir. For installation, put the Coolant Reservoir back in place, fit the bolt and tighten to 9nm (80inch lbs.), then fit the nut and tighten to the same specification. Connect the outlet hose and place its clamp, connect the inlet hose and its clamp as well. Reconnect the coolant level sensor electrical connector, install the Coolant Reservoir overflow hose, and reassemble the air cleaner assembly. Finally, fill the cooling system.
