How to replace the cruise control module on GMC Sonoma?

First disconnect the negative Battery Cable while following the cautionary instructions. The next step requires disconnection of both cruise control cable and electrical connector. To remove the Cruise Control Module from its bracket positions you need to remove three mounting nuts that anchor the module to bracket studs. Move forward by unscrewing the three fasteners which anchor the mounting bracket to the cowl panel. The mounting bracket requires attaching to the cowl panel using three appropriate screws. Screw the Cruise Control Module into its proper vehicle position and tighten all 3 nuts to a torque of 9.0 n.m (6.6 lb ft). Iplina an electrical connection and cruise control wire and connect the battery negative terminal. Test the system's functionality to verify proper working order.
