An en-4487 - Oil Filter wrench should be used to break free the Oil Filter cap so you can accomplish both its removal and the detachment of the filter while both remain joined. Add cleaning engine oil with 5w30 classification to the oil-ring on the Oil Filter cap followed by new Oil Filter application to the same filter cap . Tighten both the new Oil Filter cap along with the filter into place while avoiding excessive torque force to prevent potential oil leakage through damaged parts. You should utilize the en-4487 - Oil Filter wrench to tighten the Oil Filter cap until it reaches full seating but never exceed 25 nm (18 lb ft). Oil content should be added to the engine before completion.
