How to replace the battery sensor on GMC Yukon?

To replace the battery current sensor you should disconnect the negative Battery Cable and mark its position on the cable. Take off tape holding the sensor then mark where the two negative cable wires connect before disconnecting them. Pinch the two ends of the negative Battery Cable together while paying attention to its normal arrangement before you take off the battery current sensor. After aligning the cable branches press them together to place the new battery current sensor at the marked spots. Bed the new sensor on the cable and fasten it in place using electrical tape. Place the marked negative Battery Cable clips back onto the specified points then install the Battery Cable.
