  A vehicle needs to be raised and supported during automatic level control air compressor assembly replacement along with cleaning surrounding areas to protect the air system from dirt before separate installation of the air compressor and Air Hose. Disconnect the electrical connection then remove the air tube from the air dryer system. Begin by removing the air inlet and hose from the fuel filler neck bracket and then loosen all mounting nuts. Pull the air compressor toward the trailer to pass the frames slots before removing it from under the vehicle. Place the air compressor inside the vehicle and move it toward the front until all fasteners lock into frame slots before applying 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.) of torque to the mounting nuts. Reattach the air inlet hose to the fuel filler neck bracket and fasten the air tube to the air dryer after reconnecting the electrical connection. When you start the engine allow 45 seconds of wait time to fill the air adjustable Shock Absorbers with residual pressure before lowering the vehicle.
