GMC Yukon XL 1500 Body Control Module Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to remove and install the Body Control Module (BCM) on GMC Yukon XL 1500?
A: Begin bcm removal work by disconnecting the negative battery source and then pulling out the knee bolster. Follow the brown connector by detaching all other connectors and then take the bcm off its sliding bracket. Place the bcm onto the bracket and join connectors except for the brown one leaving it for last connection. Replace the knee bolster and then recharge the Battery Cables before programming the bcm when necessary.
