How to replace the Body Control Module (BCM) on Chevrolet Avalanche 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Beginning BCM replacements requires disconnecting the negative battery cables after following the specified procedure for Battery Disconnect Caution. The next step involves removing the knee bolster and disconnecting the brown connector along with every other connector attached. Once the BCM is free from the sliding bracket you can proceed with removal. During installation slide the BCM onto the bracket first and establish all connector connections except the brown one before connecting the brown connector. Put back the knee bolster and complete the battery cable reconnection. Reprogramming the BCM alongside Passlock Learn Procedure completes the process sequence.
