    Before replacing the Body Control Module you need to disconnect the negative battery cables according to the battery disconnect caution. Unplug the brown connector and all other connectors from the knee bolster after you remove it. Pull the bcm out from its sliding bracket position. Insert the bcm onto its bracket and plug all connectors but not the brown one. Finally attach the brown connector. Put back the knee bolster and reconnect both battery leads. Connect all links and wire in the bcm. Then reprogram the system and run through the passlock learn steps to finalize setup.
