How to replace the EGR Tube on GMC Yukon XL 1500?

The replacement process of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pipe requires the removal of engine sight shield and EGR Valve first. First remove all fasteners from the egr pipe leading to both the intake and Exhaust Manifold before detaching the egr pipe from the right Cylinder Head then extract the egr pipe itself. Secure the egr pipe in its position by fastening mounting brackets to the right Cylinder Head while tightening them to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Mount the egr pipe onto the Exhaust Manifold first before tightening the fasteners to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Afterward, fasten the egr pipe to the Intake Manifold through adjustments of 12 n.m (106 lb in). The EGR Valve and engine sight shield should be reinstalled after the completion of the procedure.
