How to replace the antenna assembly for cellular and navigation on GMC Yukon XL 2500?

The antenna replacement procedure for cellular and navigation requires lowering the headliner while disconnecting antenna cables. Awning the retaining nut will allow the antenna assembly to be extracted from its position on the vehicle's roof. Place the antenna assembly on the roof opening then secure the retaining nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in) while following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. You should attach the antenna cables following the nut securing step before returning the headliner to its place.
