    Q:
How to perform a flywheel replacement procedure on Buick Enclave? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the engine Flywheel, one has to remove the transmission in both all wheel drive and front wheel drive configurations first. Secondly, remove the engine Flywheel bolts and the Flywheel. Clean and examine the Flywheel closely; if any teethes are damaged, inspect Starter for correct operation, and replace it if excessive wear or damage to Starter Drive exists. Inspect and mount the engine Flywheel, bolt it and then reinstall the transmission.

    Q:
How to replace the engine flywheel on Buick Enclave? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the engine Flywheel involves transmitting removal. As the first step remove all bolts from the engine Flywheel along with the Flywheel itself. The inspecting process shows clean results for the Flywheel, but damaged teeth indicate Starter checking for correct working and new Starter installation with significant Starter drive damage or wear. Begin the procedure by installing the engine Flywheel then secure its bolts afterward position the transmission back into place.

    Q:
How to replace the engine flywheel on Chevrolet Equinox? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the engine Flywheel consists of removing the transaxle. Use the en-43653 (Flywheel Holding Tool) by installing it to the Flywheel before unbolt the Flywheel while being aware that you might need to adjust your 18 mm socket to attach properly to thin-headed bolts. The Flywheel bolts must be removed along with the Flywheel while avoiding any alignment of the Flywheel to the Crankshaft because it operates independently from balance procedures. After removing the Flywheel along with the en-43653 tool users must brush away the thread adhesive from the Flywheel bolt holes using a nylon bristle brush. Position the new balancing Flywheel onto the Crankshaft before securely tightening its provided bolts. You should reinstall the en-43653 tool during the bolt-tightening process to stop rotation from happening. Through use of the en-45059 (Angle Meter) tighten Flywheel bolts to 53 nm (39 lb ft) together with a 25 degree additional turn. Finish the procedure by taking out the en-43653 tool before reinstalling the transaxle.

    Q:
What tools are required to service and repair the flex plate and replace the engine flywheel on Chevrolet Malibu? Posted by Customer
    A:
The service and repair of the flex plate along with engine Flywheel replacement requires both crankshaft balancer holder (J 38122-A) and angle meter (J 45059) tools. Start the process by taking the automatic transmission out of place. At this time install the crankshaft balancer holder (J 38122-A) to the crankshaft balancer so that the flexplate remains stationary during bolt removal while an assistant fixes it in place using a breaker bar. To gain adequate contact on thin-headed flexplate bolts it becomes necessary to cut off the chamfer from an 18-mm socket. Use the crankshaft balancer holder (J 38122-A) to keep the flexplate from rotating when removing the bolts and discard used bolts because new ones need installation. Extent orientation between flexplate and crankshaft is unnecessary because flexplate balancing is conducted individually. The thread adhesive needs clear-up from the Flywheel bolt holes using a nylon bristle brush following flexplate removal. The crankshaft balancer holder (J 38122-A) maintains flexplate motionlessness during new flexplate bolt torque application for installation. Set the new automatic transmission in place by screwing flexplate bolts to 53 n.m (39 lb ft) and 25 degrees beyond specifications with angle meter (J 45059).

    Q:
How to replace the engine flywheel on Chevrolet Malibu? Posted by Customer
    A:
A mechanic must take out the transaxle before starting the engine Flywheel replacement task. An assistant should use (J 38122-A) and a breaker bar to install them to the crankshaft balancer to keep the Flywheel from spinning when removing the Flywheel bolts. The edge of an 18 mm socket will require chamfer removal when using it to engage thin-headed Flywheel bolts. The engine balancing process requires discarding the Flywheel bolts after their removal without allowing the Flywheel to face the crankshaft because it remains balanced independently of the engine. Utilize a nylon bristle brush to cleanse thread adhesive from Flywheel bolt holes found on the crankshaft before positioning the Flywheel onto the crankshaft. Place the Flywheel on the crankshaft before tightening all new Flywheel bolts to a moderate torque. An assistant should use (J 38122-A) and a breaker bar attached to the crankshaft balancer to stop the crankshaft rotation during Flywheel bolt tightening. Use (J 45059) tool to tighten Flywheel bolts to 53 nm (39 lb ft) and achieve an additional 25-degree angle. After you detach the (J 38122-A) along with the breaker bar put the transaxle into position.

    Q:
How to replace the engine flywheel on Chevrolet Traverse? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace an engine Flywheel begins with removing the transmission following correct procedures for all wheel drive or front wheel drive. Uninstall both engine Flywheel bolts followed by removal of the Flywheel piece. A thorough examination of the Flywheel should be performed before cleaning it while damaged teeth indicate the need to check both Starter function and replace the drive if Starter damage or excessive wear is observed. Installation of engine Flywheel follows its attachment with bolts then reinstalls the transmission.

    Q:
How to service and repair the Flywheel on GMC Acadia? Posted by Customer
    A:
The servicing process for the flex plate requires first removing the transmission from its place. The first step requires the removal of engine Flywheel bolts before extracting the Flywheel. An inspection of the Flywheel serves as the first step. In case of visible damage to the Flywheel teeth the Starter operation status must be checked. A new Starter needs to be installed if Starter drive damage exceeds acceptable limits. Reinstall the transmission after placing both engine Flywheel and its bolts back into the correct position.
