    Begin Wiper Blade replacement by lifting the Wiper Arm vertically then keeping it in place to prevent accidental strikes on the windshield. Start by pressing up on the locking tab of the Wiper Blade clip while moving the Wiper Blade down on the Wiper Arm to free the Wiper Blade from the inside radius of the Wiper Arm. Set the Wiper Arm through the clearance space of the Wiper Blade. When installing a new Wiper Blade fit it into the inside radius of the Wiper Arm hook before slipping the Wiper Arm hook through the blade opening. Thoroughly hold the Wiper Arm as you pull upward until the locking tab connects its slot with the hook and then carefully set the Wiper Arm and blade in place on the windshield.

    Before working with the Wiper Blade lift it upward while maintaining its position so it does not hit the windshield. Pull the Wiper Blade from its slot on the inside radius as you press the locking tab upward with your tool. Move the wiper through its holder to expose the opener in the Wiper Blade. Position the Wiper Blade inside the Wiper Arm hook radius first before adding the Wiper Arm hook through the Wiper Blade opening. Push the hub forward to let the locking mechanism rest in the hook slot then gently put the Wiper Arm and blade onto the windshield.

    Before starting the repair lift the Wiper Arm and keep it in position so it does not snap back onto the windshield. Push up on the locking tab of the Wiper Blade clip while pulling down on the Wiper Blade to disconnect it from the inside radii of the Wiper Arm. Push the Wiper Arm out from its opening at the Wiper Blade. Insert the Wiper Blade inside the radius of the wiper hook before putting the hook end through its opening in the Wiper Blade. Press up to fit the locking pivot into the hook slot and put the wiper assembly on the windshield carefully.
